And again.

There nothing … and I mean nothing … The Lord can’t do.

Every time I get discouraged, He has been there to lift me up and prove to me it’s going to work out. And trust me, there have been plenty of times I have felt defeated, wanted to give up, didn’t see a way forward or solutions to problems.

But time and time again I have seen Him show up and show off.

When my mother was sick, He proved He found a doctor that would figure out what was going on.

When my divorce hit, He proved He was going to financially take care of us.

When the panic attacks happened and I felt alone, He met me on the hallway floor with comfort and peace.

When I laid relationships on the alter like Abraham did with Issac, He took the situation in His hands and let the chains finally break loose.

Again and again and again – He has come through.

There is a song by Elevation music that had me in deep worship mode and also a ton of tears poured out on the way to work today. It’s called “Another One.” These lyrics back up the scripture in Isaiah 43:19: "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." [1]

And again in Ephesians 3:20: "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

'Cause if He told the sun when to rise
And it did, He will again
And if He told the storm to be still
And it did, He will again
And if He told the sea where to split
And it did, He will again
And if He told the walls when to fall
And they did, He will again
And if He told the chains when to break
And they did, He will again

And if He told the bones, come alive
And they did, He, come on, what else
And if He told the stone, roll away
And it did, He will again
And if He told the grave, let Him go
And it did, He will again

I don’t know what wilderness you are fighting. Perhaps it’s tight finances, debt, cancer, relationship struggles, a prodigal child but if the God of Jericho who knocked down the walls for His people did all of that? He is going to do it AGAIN for YOU!! Over and over and over. He doesn’t tire or get weary of your prayers and He IS big enough to cover everything.

Remember … He is the God of “and again”!!

I pray that the prayers you have been pouring your heart out to the Lord for get answered unexpectedly and seemingly out of nowhere.
