For my daughter’s birthday I got her a subscription for the Crunch Labs boxes by Mark Rober. (Side note: If you have littles that LOVE the STEM projects … I highly recommend them!!)
This month’s box contained a project for one entitled, “Tripwire Prank”. She has absolutely LOVED setting this up around the house and has been pranking us all week.
Within the video of instructions, there is usually an explanation of the science behind the engineering. He talked about how the energy from the sun cannot be recreated or destroyed. This energy source is so powerful, that the sun is just there and always has been.
As I was on the couch listening while my seven-year-old was intently watching, can I tell you how much of a light bulb moment this was for me with the symbolic symmetry!?
Looking at this from a different symbolic perspective for a few moments …
The power of the Son, Jesus, is so powerful that He cannot be recreated by anything or anyone else. Ever. Period. There is just the one and only Son of God. Everything else claiming to be Him is counterfeit.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
To move along that point a little bit further, there will always be an opposite for what God has created. That’s the name of the game for the enemy.
God created: The opposition from the enemy:
Holy union of intimacy Perversions of all kinds
Love Hate
Peace Chaos
Fruits of the spirit Demonic Forces
Calmness Anxiousness
Secondly, He, Jesus, cannot be destroyed. Ever. This world tried to do this and they conquered his physical fleshly body. Momentarily. But three days later that man rose from the dead overcoming even death itself. Luke chapter 4 backs this up and in verses 5-8 we see this awesome picture of peace being resurrected:
5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 Then they remembered his words.
This is hopeful and exciting!! I don’t know what you may be experiencing or have in the past but daughter or son of our creator – there is NOTHING you can not overcome. Why? Because God’s Son, Jesus, overcame it all. Meaning there is absolutely nothing that is too big for Him to forgive you for and can absolutely wipe away any shame that is present in our life too.
He really is that good.
Does that mean this life is going to be easy just because we have him in our life? Oh, absolutely not. But it does mean we are not alone.
If you haven’t accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do your own research, dig into the bible and talk to someone about Him on a more personal level.
If you’re ready to accept Him into your heart, then all you need to follow this simple prayer.
“Jesus, I believe you are the son of God, you were sent to save me and be the Savior of the world. I believe you died and rose again. Because of that, I want to ask you to forgive me of my sins and live in my heart for the rest of my life. In Jesus name, amen!”
Your next steps are to tell someone and plug into a church where you can do life together with a community of believers. And finally, get water baptized. This is a symbol of your new commitment to Jesus showing an outward expression of your faith.
You are powered by the Son sweet reader and because of that remember, you are more than a conquer. (Romans 8:37.)
