A river cuts through rock
Listen.
Things are not going to change unless you are consistent.
Consistent in your:
Actions
Prayers
Routine
Parenting
Diet
Exercise
Showing up
Drive to move forward
Relationships
Marriage
The bible is very clear, that we are to say in persistent prayer.
Luke 18:1, “One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.”
Ephesians 6:18, “18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Circumstances may not change or they could. But one thing that can, is your perspective with the peace the Holy Spirit delivers through prayer. Remember, nothing catches God off guard.
Remember also, God is not a vending machine. He is not going to answer prayer requests that are based out of selfishness or greed. Praying without ceasing also means praying with proper motives.
If something as simple as water can break a rock – then imagine the power your prayers have!
