An expressive painting workshop inspired by the seasons of your soul
For the past five years, I have spent time growing, learning, seeking counsel, and becoming the best version of myself I can be. It has taken perseverance, courage, and a whole lot of grace.
One of the places I have found that grace is by the sea.
Writing near the ocean became a calming space for my soul—a place where I could quiet the noise, sort through the internal storms, and bring the waves crashing against my heart before the Lord.
During the three years I spent writing The Sea Glass Soul, the ocean became a safe place for me to process, reflect, and connect with God. Along the way, I also discovered painting and fell in love with the freedom it gave me to express what words sometimes couldn't.
Some of my paintings are filled with light and warmth. Others carry deeper, darker tones. Shadows can represent hurts, pain, worry, or the places in our hearts that are still healing. Light can represent hope, peace, joy, or the beautiful glow that comes after a difficult season.
Your ocean may look different. And that's okay.
In this workshop, you'll be invited to slow down, reflect on the season you're walking through, and create your own ocean painting as a visual expression of what is happening within you. No artistic experience is required—this isn't about creating a perfect painting. It's about giving yourself the freedom to express, reflect, and make space for what your heart needs.
